Welcome to Chengdu! You will be picked up by local tour guide at the airport hall or train station, and then be escorted to your hotel in Chengdu city in a private vehicle.
After check in, you can hang out around the City to experience local conditions and customs.

Chengdu is one of the few super-sized Chinese cities that most visitors do end up enjoying. There's a relaxing teahouse culture – favourite local institutions have been serving the same brews for generations; a lively nightlife that mixes craft beer bars and super-hip clubs with Sichuan opera shows; and delicious food that is famous for its heat, history and variety even in cuisine-rich China.

Spots:Ya-Kang Expressway scenery, Xinduqiao

Set off to the destination-Xinduqiao in the morning, though it is a little long journey, it will be not insipid because you will drive through the longest tunnel in China - Mt. Erlangshan Tunnel and enjoy the picturesque scenery along the Chengdu Plain, the Dadu River and the Qingyi River.

After arr Xinduqiao, don't miss the chance to capture the beauty of Xinduqiao Town, which is called the Corridor of Photographers, though there are no obvious bounds among different attractions in Xinduqiao, there is a “gallery for photographers” lasting 10 kilometers.

Spots:Litang, Litang Monastery

Enjoy the amazing natural lights in the morning,then take about 4 hours to Litang. Litang boasts "the Highest Town" for its 4014 meters over sea levels, and it is an important religious city in Tibetan plateau with strong nomadic features and atmosphere of traditional Tibetan life. Arrive on the eve of the Litang Horse Racing Festival, a very thrilling time!

You will visit Litang Monastery there, Litang Monastery is also known as Ganden Thubchen Choekhorling Monastery, meaning Happy Buddha Dharma, symbolizing the moral dharma turning and the true essence holds forever. The monastery boasts a history of almost 500 years. it's the oldest and largest Tibetan Buddhism monastery in the Kham Area.

Spend two exciting days at the Litang Horse Racing Festival with local people.

August 1st was annually the first day of the 3 days long Litang Horse Racing Festival that took place in the grassland of Litang county. Tibetan come from all over Kham, Amdo and central Tibet setting up their tents on the enormous grassland of Litang that makes the pasture like a “City of Tent”. The most exciting part of this festival is the horse racing. Brave riders take their pretty decorated horses to participate in the races showing their excellent horse riding skills, including picking up the scarlet on the back of a running horse and shooting targets while galloping…etc; Women are dressed in traditional and beautiful jewelry as they applaud the riders.

Another day enjoy the festival, Perhaps the most thrilling thing to watch is the horse back stunts that the young men do. They hang upside down or pick things up, and sometimes a horse falls. The main race is over a several kilometer-long course that tires the horses greatly. Some of the stunts involve shooting guns from horseback.

While there, you can watch the Tibetans camping and dress up in their costumes. There are Buddhist ceremonies. Tibetan food can be bought cheaply. You can buy Tibetan herbs and handicrafts and watch the Tibetans do various sports and games.

Spots:Horse Racing Festival, Kangding nightview

The last half day enjoying the Horse Racing day, set off back to Kangding in the afternoon. which is known as the Love Song City of China. The Kangding town has held the status of 'Gateway to Tibet' for a long time. 

Free and easy in the evening to explore the beautiful nightview of Kangding in the evening.

Spots:Shangli Ancient town, Renmin Park

Transfer back to Chengdu, on the way over the Sichuan-Tibet line of the first mountain - Erlang mountain.

Luding Bridge also known as the Chain Bridge. This bridge is a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture. Especially on both sides of the bridge castle is Han wooden structure of ancient buildings which is unique to China. Then visit Shangli Anicent town in Ya'an. This town is the key station to connect Ya'an and Ancient Road of Southern Silk Road. Although the time makes the colors fade, the profound and unique ethnic culture is still expressed from the old buildings.

After back to Chegdu enjoy the relaxing and leisurely pace and lifestyle in Renmin Park. Sit down, order a pot of Chinese tea, have a casual chat with your friends and watch locals indulging themselves in different kinds of folk entertainment - napping, playing mahjong, disco dancing, and giving neck massages!

Today is free for you until your tour guide transfer you to the airport in time for your flight or drop you off at the airport.You can freely go to visit the Giant Breeding Panda Base, Wide&Narrow Alley, Jinli Street or Chunxi Road.
