Day 1 : Arr Kashgar

Welcome to Kashgar, You will be picked up by local tour guide at the airport hall, and then be escorted to your hotel in Urumuqi city in a private vehicle.
After check in you can freely explore the historical relicss of the ancient silk road tour in south Xinjiang, the hub connecting China to Central Asian countries.

Day 2 : Kashgar (BLD)

Spots:Kashgar Old City

Whole day roaming in Kashgar Old City, Numerous small lanes crisscross the old city, stretching into every corner. It's like walking in a maze, exploring the small alleys in the old city.
A maze of alleyways radiated from the central square by the biggest mosque in town Id Kah, lined with market, handicraft workshops, and residences, the old town is a mix of living and commercial quarters of the Uyghur community. It was the filming location of Kite Runner.
Inside the old city are many buildings hundreds of years old. Most are two or three stories tall. Each house is typically equipped with a staircase leading to the top of the building. The mud bricks feature Islamic and Uyghur styles, with flower-carved decorations. Each house has a courtyard, the size of which varies according to the terrain. All the yards grow popular Muslim trees and flowers, and you will meet many Uyghur children playing in the old town.

Day 3 : Kashgar bus Tashkargan (BLD)

Spots:White Sands Lake, kalakuli Lake, Muztagh Ata, Karakoram Highway

After breakfast, depart to Pamir highland in the south.Travelling up from Kashgar to Tashkargan is a highlight of Kashgaria and of China as a whole.
Two hours from Kashgar, you enter the canyon of the Ghez River, with its dramatic claret-red sandstone walls. At the top of the canyon, you pop out into a huge wet plateau ringed with mountains of sand, part of the Pamir, a turquoise lake set in front of huge sand dune mountain, and aptly called White Sand Lakes by locals.
Soon Kongur Mountain rises up on the left side of the road, followed by heavily glaciered Muztagh Ata (慕士塔格峰7546m). The main stopping point for views is Karakul Lake, which is an alpine glacial erosion lake famous for its reflection of snow mountains around, the shadow of the "Father of the Snow Mountain" Muztag Peak in the lake.
The mountain scenery was out-of-this-world, snow capped mountains, glaciers feeding fast running streams that merge to form rivers, high altitude deserts, verdant oasis towns that pop up in the middle of nowhere, the meanders through high mountain pastures dotted with grazing camels and yaks.
Before enter the county, will arr Taheman Wetland, look out from the elevated vantage point, and admire the huge grassland unfolding into the distance. On a good day, you might be lucky to see herders bringing their horses to graze here!

Day 4 : Tashkargan and surroundings (BLD)

Spots: Wakhan Corridor, Panlong Ancient Road

Mainly a road trip toady to deep explore the remote place, drive towards the  Wakhan Corridor, which  is a narrow strip of territory in Afghanistan, extending to China and separating Tajikistan from Pakistan and Kashmir. The corridor, wedged between the Pamir Mountains to the north and the Karakoram range to the south, is about 350 km long. A trade route through the valley has been used by travellers going to and from East, South and Central Asia since antiquity.
After then drive to experience Panlong Road, a 75-km-long winding road with 600 hairpin turns, is located at 4,100 meters above sea level in NW China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. It will provide you with a astonish road capture, you definitely do not want to miss the scenery on the route.
Afterwards back to the county to explore the pastures nestled between the Pamir mountains.You will encounter local Tajik people, heards of grazing animals, and you may visit their traditional yurt houses. You will have the opportunity to take photos of traditional life on the Pamir Plateau and of the beautiful scenary of the surrounding Pamir mountains.

In Xinjiang, the apricot flowers in Pamir Plateau deserve the top reputation. With an average elevation of 4,500 meters, Pamir Plateau is known for its cool, bleak and desolate scenery. At the end of March, the 300-kilometers Tashkurgan River Valley becomes a spectacular gallery of apricot flowers, filled with pink blossoms that have been waiting here for centuries.

Driving along Yerqiang River, a village covered by apricot flowers jumps into your eyes after a sharp turn, which seems to be the pink clouds floating above the running river. The pink flowers, the white snow mountains, and the roasting river, the Tajiks and apricot flowers constitute a pair of fairy-like picture scroll. This is a wonderful portrayal of the harmony between people and nature. These elements are the beloved factors to the photographers.

Day 5 : Tashkargan bus Kashgar (BLD)

Spots:Stone City, Aerla Golden Grassland

Visit the ancient Stone City in the morning, the ruins dated some 2000 years old. Stone City (3,700m) was once a major caravan stop along the Silk Road , built on a tall hill, surrounded by vast grassland and mountain ranges. Climb up to the stone fortress ruins and watch towers for spectacular vista view. On the foot of Stone city is called Alaer Golden Grassland , you can appreciate the view of the ruined city with the beautiful surroundings such as vast grasslands, green mountains, clean rivers as well as the the flavor of national traits of the Tajik people.
Afterthen drive back to Kashgar in the north, Late afternoon arrive back in Kashgar for rest.

Day 6 : Kashgar (BLD)

Spots:Idigar Mosque, Abakh Khoja Tomb, Hundred years old teahouse, Sunday Market

After breakfast, keep exploring the historic old town, Kashgar was once an important trading post along the Silk Road, today, it is still a hub connecting China to Central Asian countries.
Stroll around the Old Town, to explore the special culture and life way of local people in Kashgar.
Visit Idigar Mosque, It is the largest Mosque in China and most famous one in Xinjiang.
Abakh Khoja Tomb, which is admired as a well-preserved Islamic architectural complex not only in Xinjiang, but throughout Central Asia. Xiang Fei's love story intrigues tourists from home and abroad.
Enjoy a cup of tea in the famous "A hundred year old teahouse", the  traditional style was preserved. Here people bunch on the bed-stove for warmth, chatting over a cup of fine tea and snacks,time slips away unknowingly.
If meet Sunday, you can visit the famous Sunday market, It has been here for more than 1500 years. The east of the city is transformed into a huge bazaar where peasants, merchants and traders from the regions and neighboring countries meet. There are more than 5,000 stalls and about 100,000 people a day. People come from all over central Asia to do business.The market offers a wide variety of products: crafts, livestock, vegetables, jackets, fabrics, carpets, embroidered blankets etc. You can find handicrafts from Pakistan, scarves from Turkey or dry fruits from Saudi Arabia. Thanks to its mix of cultures, the Kashgar market is a unique experience full of colors and flavors.

Day 7 : Kashgar DEP (B)

Spots:Free and Easy

Today is free for you until your tour guide transfer you to the airport in time for your flight or drop you off at the airport.
You can keep on roaming to every corner of the city, play with the kids, or just enjoy yourself in the teahouse or local coffee shop.

Tips of Today:

1) please pack your luggage carefully, especially for small things like camera charger, power adaptor, mobile phone, phone charger, wallet and towel;
2) If your flight is arranged in the afternoon, please make sure you check out the hotel before 12pm.
