Welcome to Kunming! You will be picked up by local tour guide at the airport hall or train station, and then be escorted to your hotel in the city in a private vehicle.
After check in, you can hang out around the City to experience local conditions and customs, the most popular pedestrian streets are Nanping Street, Jingxing Flowers & Birds Market, and Jinma Biji Fang. 

Spots:Stone Forest, Luoping county

Your first stop will be Stone Forest about 80km away from Kunming, an old local saying says that ‘If you have visited Kunming without seeing the Stone Forest, you have wasted your time.’ Truly, the Stone Forest is one of the most important attractions of Yunnan,You can enjoy the marvelous landscape of stones in different shapes.

Then transfer back to Luoping county, which is one of the largest plantations of canola flowers in southwest China. It is located 230 kilometers east of Kunming, and neighboring Guizhou Province and Guangxi Province. 

It had become a Mecca for photographers, who flock to this small county every early spring to capture the magnificent “sea of yellow” of blooming rapeseed flowers. The majestic photos in turn, draw more and more tourists to this beautiful rural photographic haven.

Spots:Jinji Peak rape flowers field, Jiulong Waterfall

In the morning, getting up early to catch a picture of the sunrise on Jinji Peak rape flowers field. This is perhaps the most popular spot for rapeseed flowers viewing in Luoping, the landscape here is flat, punctuated by a few mounds of little hills, breaking the monotony. The flatness allows the gentle breeze to move the flowers in mesmerizing sways.

Photographers can be seen climbing up the few tiny hills for better angle and panorama.

Then head to pay a visit to Jiulong Waterfall - which is one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in China with ten tiers and famous as a mini Three Gorge in Yunnan, you can either take a cable car or hike up to hill to reach a viewing platform where you can enjoy a great view of valley and the waterfall.

Tips: the best time to visit Luoping to see Canola flower is in Spring, during Feb-Mar, Blooming canola flowers are a sign that spring is coming.

Every spring, the entire county transforms into an ocean of canola flowers, attracting thousands of travelers and photographers who enjoy the spectacular views. The county was also included in CNN's list of 15 of the world's most colorful landscapes published last year.

Spots:Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks, Maling River Canyon

Today’s highlights is the amazing natural scenery of karst landscape at Xinyi. After breakfast, drive to Xinyi and visit Forest of Ten Thousand Peaks, the Wonder Under Heaven. It is called Wanfenglin in Chinese due to the thousands of peaks. this scenic area contains the vast majority of the county's karst landscape, their perfectly shaped forms in a magnificent landscape, as well as numerous grotesque peaks, make the Ten Thousand Peaks Forest very special amid surrounding mountains, fields, rivers, villages and forests. Stroll around over plank walks or take an electric trolley to drive you around.

Then move on to Maling River Canyon for a trek at the Tianxing Hualang (Heaven Star Gallery).

the so-called most beautiful scar in the world. The Malinghe River is a tributary of the Nanpan River and runs through the gorge with its some 200 meters high cascades, falling down on both sides of the river. The most spectacular part of the gorge is called Tian Xing Gallery, offering its visitors a great impression by entering it by elevator. We head back to our hotel in Xingyi afterward again.

Spots:Huangguoshu Waterfall

After breakfast, head to Anshun for today’s trip to Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is the largest waterfall in Asia with 74 meters high and 81 meters wide. The waterfall could be viewed from six different positions to get its magnificence, greatness and elegance.While behind the great Waterfall, there stands the Water-Curtain Cave. When walking in the 6 different caves in it, people can enjoy the scene of the water flowing down, hear the pleasant sound of the waterfall, or touch and feel the cool of the waterfall with arms stretch out, or see the green slope of Huaguoshan Mountain out from the cave. After lunch, visit the Tianxingqiao Scenic Spot, which is featured various grotesque limestone formations, caves, waterfalls and the Heavenly Star Bridge (Tianxingqiao), which is formed by a slab of stone across a gorge.
Back to Guiyang by the evening.

Spots:Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village

Proceed to Xijiang after breakfast, visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, Being the largest gathering place of the Miao in China and even the world, about ten natural Miao ethnic villages exist in Xijiang Town and the Miao culture is best preserved in this area.

In Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, layer upon layer of closely connected wooden-stilted houses are built along the contour of the hill with the Baishui River passing through the bottom of the mountain. You can also enjoy Singing and Dancing Show,the Old Songs of Miao Nationality sung by seniors in the village is excellent.
The nightview of Qianhu Miao Village is also very charming.

Spots:Kaili Ethnic Minority Museum, Langde Miao Village

Drive to Kaili, the Capital of Southeast Guizhou. Upon arrival, explore the ethnic kingdom first by visiting Kaili Ethnic Minority Museum, where you can get a general idea of the Miao and the Dong in this region. 

Then deep explore Kaili by a visit to Langde Miao Village, Stilt-houses, Langde Miao Village Around 500 villagers in ten families, the Langde Miao Village is considered small. Members of the Miao Ethnic Minority, they adopt common habits and customes. Entering the village, visitors would find themselves literarily immersed in works of art. The villagers in Langde wear long skirts, hence they are "Long Skirt Miao". The Miao style houses "Diaojiaolou" and its featured and creative festivals will cause you spell bound.

Transfer back to Guiyang in the late afternoon.
