Welcome to Chengdu! You will be picked up by local tour guide at the airport hall or train station, and then be escorted to your hotel in Chengdu city in a private vehicle.
After check in, you can hang out around the City to experience local conditions and customs.
Chengdu is one of the few super-sized Chinese cities that most visitors do end up enjoying. There's a relaxing teahouse culture – favourite local institutions have been serving the same brews for generations; a lively nightlife that mixes craft beer bars and super-hip clubs with Sichuan opera shows; and delicious food that is famous for its heat, history and variety even in cuisine-rich China.

Spots:Hongyuan Grassland, Moon Bay

Driving to Hongyuan from chengdu, we can have many stops for marvelous views along the road accompanied by Zagunao River. Passing by Long'riba prairie, arrive at Hongyuan in the afternoon, which means the red grassland because the Red Army of China Communist Party once passed here during the Long March.Visit Moon bay on the way in Hongyuan, Aptly named for the shape the river has formed through the grassland plateau, the bay itself is actually the snaking White River.you can enjoy the vibrant colours of the grass and sky, while watching the grazing herds of yaks and cattle,this river drains into the headwaters of the Yellow River.Then keep driving to Tangke for overnight.

Spots:First bend of Yellow River, Flower Lake

Get up early to watch the beautiful sunrise on the grand prairie,and then visit the First Bend of Yellow River, in the morning The up reach of the Yellow River makes its first bent on the grassland on the plateau, zigzagging like a silver belt bending in the grassland; which forms a great S-shape before the river moves north into the great ordos Loop.

Then transfer to next stop Flower lake in Ruoergai, you could enjoy this beautiful landscape of clear blue skies, snow-capped mountains, blooming wildflowers, and herds of yak and sheep along the way.

Upon arrival, explore the Huahu Lake (Flower Lake) in Ruoeorgai, hike around and enjoy the landscape for about two hours,Ruoergai grassland is a nature reserve for black-necked crane protection and the largest fenland in China,in summer time, you can see the flourishing flowers and greenery in the vast grassland. 

Spots:Zhagana Village

Whole day’s exploring Zhagana village, Zhagana means “Rock Box” in Tibetan language, which is fitting as it is surrounded by large rocky spires on all sides. Lush, verdant villages fill the space between the mountains,the stunning landscape, primitive forest, local Tibetan villages and unique culture will make you feel you never want to leave. Zhagana is also an ideal place to hike. Many hiking trails have been developed to enjoy and explore the beautiful vistas. Hike to the monastery if you are interested in knowing more about Tibetan Buddhism, or if you love taking photos, hike to the top village and get the whole view of Zhagana from there.

Spots:Langmusi monastery, Ga Lake

Drive about 3H to visit Langmusi monastery and Gerdi monastery. The whole Langmusi Monastery is like a small town,the Grand Hall does not have any enclosing walls. The murals, the painted red columns and the tranquil surrounding are all awe-inspiring. Then you can visit Gerdi Monastery which faces Langmusi monastery across a river. If we are lucky, we can see the Mortal Body Bodhisattva  in Gerdi Monastery. what's more, you will have a chance to see the famous Sky Funeral terrace of the Tibetans if there is a ceremony to be held on the day when you are just visiting at this Tibetan town.

Afterwards, proceed to Luqu County, if time permit, you can visit Ga lake on the way to Luqu, it’s an important wetland in the east of Qinghai Tibet plateau.

Spots:Labrang Monastery

Visit Labrang Monastery, Amdo’s most famous monastery located in Xiahe, a small town. Labrang sits at 2900m/9500 feet with high mountains and is surrounded by alpine forests. Labrang is a popular pilgrimage destination for Tibetans and is home to over 1700 monks.

Then drive about 4 hours to Tongren,where is the originated place of the famous "Regong Art" of Tibetan Buddhism. On the way, you will pass grassland, forestry, agricultural land and beautiful Red Mountain valley.

Spots:Tongren Rongwu Monastery , Xining Free Program

You will visit the holy Rongwu Monastery in the morning, the third largest Tibetan monastery in Amdo Tibetan areas, and right after Labrang Monastery and Taer Monastery. Rongwu Monastery has played a very important role during the history of Tibetan Buddhism in Amdo Tibetan areas. Many famous Buddhist masters and scholars ever lived and studied Buddhism here.

Then proceed to Xining, free and easy program after check in hotel, there's superb food and a scattering of tempting cafes as well as an outstanding museum of Tibetan culture, some beautiful temples and mosques, plus the remains of the old city wall.

Spots:Qinghai Lake

After breakfast, drive about 2.5 hours to see the picturesque Qinghai Lake from Xining via Huangyuan, the biggest inland lake and biggest salt-water lake in China.  It is surrounded by high mountainst, at the foot of mountains are the endless beautiful grasslands. So you can enjoy the great views by walking, riding or biking.

As the largest inland lake, as well as the largest salt water lake in China, Qinghai Lake(3200m) stretches 105km at length,  63km at width and occupies a water area of over 4,500 square kilometers. this plateau lake was elected as the Most Beautiful Lake in China by China’s National Geographic. It is surrounded by harsh mountain ranges from outside. While on the foot of mountains are endless beautiful grassland and rapeseed flower lands which are connected to the lakeside.

After that, drive back to Xining. On the way, you will visit the Riyue Mountains , and the Ri Pagoda and Yue Pagoda. Both pagodas were built in Tang Dynasty to commemorate the intermarriage of marrying Princess Wencheng of Tang to Tubo. At the foot of Riyue Mountains, you will be amazed by the unique Daotang River which flows from east to west.

Today is free for you until your tour guide transfer you to the airport in time for your flight or drop you off at the airport.
You can freely visit Dongguan Mosque, Ma Bufang Mansion or Qinghai Museum.
