The Giant Golden Pagoda is located in Gaozhuang, Jinghong City, the construction started in November 2009, and it was finished in November 2013. The Pagoda is 66.6 meters high, meaning that one river (Mekong River) connects six countries (China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam). and is one of the nine towers in Gaozhuang Xishuangjing (meaning “nine towers and twelve cities”).
