Giant panda Research Summer Camp (GPRSC) to embrace the youth of your age, and farewell to the brutal competition of studying. Turning scientific research to popular research, the GPRSC blends learning in entertainment. Meanwhile, it is also a journey of physical strength and will.
The GPRSC is a unique “scientific feast”, questionnaire design, investigation of vegetation, sample collection of giant panda feces and application of infrared camera are main course; then natural scenery appreciation and composing, such as versifying, brain storming about panda protection and game time constitutes dessert, here, you can enhance your comprehension of scientific research and imagination, team spirit, innovation ability and so on. In the end, a campfire party with Roast Whole Lamb will give you endless aftertaste and make everything worth.

Day01: Arr Chengdu
Pick up in the airport and transfer to hotel directly.
Day02: Chengdu bus Wolong
Morning: Gather in Wolong
Afternoon: Visit the museum of Panda and Earthquake in Wolong, learn some basic knowledge about panda and Wolong
Evening: Watch a documentary about Wolong, then campers know each other, set up groups and select the leaders
Day03: Wolong
Morning: Meet with experts and discuss the design of field surveys
Afternoon: Fix infrared cameras on the way to the panda field monitoring station
Evening: Panda experts tell stories of pana and panda’s research
Day04: Wolong
Morning and afternoon: Visit panda’s home, do sampled plots in panda habitat, find and collect panda feces, identify wildlife traces and plant species
Evening: Double check data
Day05: Wolong
Morning: Leave the panda field monitoring station and retrieve the infrared cameras
Afternoon: Collate the data of panda feces and infrared cameras
Evening: Analyze these data
Day06: Wolong
Morning and afternoon: Transfer to Balang mountain, enjoy beautiful clouds and flowers, then trekking in Dengsheng Valley Primary Forest(about 4-5H), discover the wild creatures and flowers there.
Evening: Share individual experience and play game.
Day07: Wolong
Morning and afternoon: Volunteers’s day (spend a day with cute pandas, you can feed them, clean their colony house and build PAE behaviour code (position, act, environment)
Evening: enjoy Guozhuang with campfire and taste roast lamb
Day08: Wolong bus Chengdu
Morning: bus to Dujiangyan, and visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System.
Afternoon: Back to Chengdu, visit Wuhou Temple and Jinli Street.
Evening: Face Changing Show
