Mt. Huaying tourism area is located in Guang 'an city at northeast of Sichuan Basin, which is one of the best tourist cities in China. The traffic is very convenient, only 1 hour from Chongqing and 3 hours from Chengdu by land. The scenic spot is the highest mountain type stone forest in China, with the green and dense mountain forest as the environmental keynote and the rare karst early development stone forest wonders in the world as the typical landscape representative. Mt. Huayingscenery is elegant, poetic, and the ecological climate environment is very superior. The vegetation coverage rate in the tourist area is over 95%, and the annual average temperature is 17-22℃, making it a rare "natural oxygen bar".

Mt. Huaying Giant Panda Eco-tourism Scenic Area, with a planned area of about 11 square kilometers. It is planned and built into an ecological cultural tourism complex integrating tourism, summer vacation, leisure and entertainment, pension and health care. The main projects include: natural stone forest, panda ecological area, black dragon gorge rafting, mountain climbing sightseeing area, Taiyangping resort and ecological farming areas, etc. It is committed to build into a first-class domestic and internationally famous mountain leisure and vacation destination with "spring mountain your, summer summer vacation, autumn scenic view and winter snow appreciation".

The scenic spot is now a national AAAA level scenic spot, a national forest park, a national geological park, a giant panda breeding base, one of the top ten summer resorts in Sichuan Province, and a tourism resort in Sichuan Province. It is a good place for sightseeing, leisure and summer vacation for people in Sichuan and Chongqing.

Mt. Huaying, a natural boundary mountain between the hills in central Sichuan and the parallel mountain valley in eastern Sichuan. Protruded at the bottom of the Sichuan Basin, the mountain is 1,704 meter high and stretches 325 kilometers. It is the main mountain range of the parallel ridge valley in eastern Sichuan, called as the world's three major folded mountain systems together with Appalachia, Andean Rockies in America. There are three branches Jiufeng Mountain, Jinyun Mountain and Zhongliangshan Mountain. They are 700~1000 meters above sea level, the main peak is 1704 meters high, which is the highest peak at the bottom of Sichuan Basin.

Over a long geological period, Mt. Huaying has formed a complete geological structure from Cambrian to Jurassic. The Huayingshan fault exposed more than 20 kinds of minerals to the surface of the earth's crust, providing China with a wide range of minerals with rich reserves and high mining value. Mt. Huaying is one of the major coal producing areas in Sichuan Province, and has built Huaying Mountain Coal Mine, Tianfu Coal Mine and Zhongliangshan Coal Mine. Located in Beibei District of Chongqing, Jinyun Mountain at the southwest side of Mt. Huaying, is a famous mountain in Sichuan Basin and one of China's famous scenic spots, known as Bashan Mountain in ancient times.

Mt. Huaying has a long history and rich local culture. Mt. Huaying has been the territory of the Ba people since ancient times. It is the hometown of Mr. Deng Xiaoping, the great man of the century and the chief architect of China’s reform and opening up.
