Sidonggou (Four Cave Valley as in Chinese) scenic area is 200 meters away southwest of Yonghe Primary School, Datong Township, Chishui County, and Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is about 17km from Chishui Town, and 5km from its nearest administration body, Datong Township. It is consist of a series of waterfalls, brooks and old bridges.

It was called Min Brooks in the old days. It is now known as Sidonggou (four cave valley) because in its 4km length lies four big waterfalls in different shapes and sizes and each waterfall are connected to each other with caves.

● Highlights of Sidonggou Scenic Area

Shuiliandong waterfall (water curtain waterfall) and Yueliangtan waterfall (Moon Pool waterfall)

Shuiliandong is a 31 high waterfall with cascading water drops in shapes of traditional Chinese curtains. Three Chinese characters Shuiliandong (water curtain) were caved out on its cliff. Yueliangtan is a 26 high and 43 wide waterfall shaped like a silver comb viewed from distance.

Flying frog waterfall

This is a 43 wide and 26 tall waterfall. An elephant shaped giant rock lies in its upper stream. Followed by and shallow shoal and a rock shaped like frog, hence the name flying frog waterfall.

Bailongtan waterfall (White dragon pool waterfall)

This fall is the biggest among other three waterfalls in this scenic area. It towers 60 meters and is 23 meters wide. Its thundering roar can be heard from far away.

Duxianqiao (The bridge that ferries the Saints)

This is a naturally occurred stone bridge on the left side of road in front of Sidonggou scenic area, just opposite of the Yonghe village government. It is 20 meters long and 3 meters wide. It is the product of erosion by water on Danxia landscape (red sandstone). This natural bridge is a spiritual site to locals. They believe that only people with integrity and honesty can cross this bridge, those who harbors evil intentions can never set foot on the bridge.
