Wujiang River Gallery is a scenic spot in Chongqing, located in the west of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, which is the boundary river between Chongqing municipality and Guizhou Province. It is 9 kilometers away from Yanhe County in Guizhou Province and 57 kilometers away from Youyang County in Chongqing. It is a high grade scenic area setting natural landscape, historical town and folk customs in one. Wujiang Hundred Li(50km) Gallery is located in the junction area of southeast Chongqing and northeast Guizhou, covering the main stream and tributaries of the Wujiang River in Youyang County and Fuling City of Chongqing and Yanhe County of Guizhou Province. It enters Wanmu Township and Gongtan Town of Youyang County in Chongqing from Yanhe County of Guizhou Province, and then enters the Yangtze River in Fuling District in Chongqing.

Wujiang River basin and Yuanjiang River basin are two major water systems in Youyang. Wujiang River is located in the southwest border of Youyang County, originating in Weining County, Guizhou Province. It enters Wanmu and Gongtan of Youyang County along the river and flows into the Yangtze River in Fuling, with a total length of 1,070 kilometers. The Youyang section of Wujiang River is about 60 kilometers which is the best part of "Wujiang Hundred Li(one li is half km) Gallery" in the Thousand Li(500km) Wujiang River. The mountains look as if it had been carved by axes, the water like jasper, twisted branches, flying waterfowls. Strange mountains and rocks, clear water, dangerous beach, ancient town, covered bridge, trails of Qianfu(people who made a living pulling boats with ropes), suspended funeral constitute the landscape elements of Wujiang Gallery. In particular,Lizhi Gorge, Baiji Gorge and Tutuozhi Gorge are the best works of the landscape gallery.

The ancient town of Gongtan has a history of more than 1,700 years, the ancient Barbarian cave was built in the Warring States Period, Ma 'an City is the site of the uprising of the Jintou monks in the Southern Song Dynasty. Suspended burial of the Bo people is a custom of the ethnic bo people in the south in the East Han Dynasty.
